Battlefield 6: Saints Quarter
I worked as a Senior Environment Artist on Battlefield 6. My main focus during the project was on the two multiplayer levels set in Gibraltar. For both these maps, I was responsible for the structural asset backlog, designing the architecture and tactical destruction opportunities and blocking out and defining areas in the level together with level design. I also dressed all facades and rooftops and drove the colorization of the levels with help from fellow pod members and art direction.
In the early stages of the project, I was also part of a small team creating a benchmark environment that set the visual quality bar for the game. This was also the time we developed workflows and created standardized content which I specifically contributed to how we work with architecture detailing and to achieve destruction fidelity with shrapnel wear, soot and wood content.
This was the most massive collaboration I have ever been part of, and so many talented people contributed into making these levels. Personally, this is the fourth Battlefield game I'm taking part in shipping, and I could not be more proud of what we have achieved with Battlefield 6. Hopefully all the passion and effort we have put into making this shines through!
